is in charge of protective services (prevention and assistance) in steel
and reinforced concrete structures with the study of painting and varnishing cycles
and the preparation of the surfaces for preserving them against aggressive & corrosive agents
from the severe industrial, civilian and marine environments.
The research of technologies at low environmental impact have brought about the use
of systems such as bicarbonate sand blasting, which thanks to the kind of abrasive used,
allows one to operate in a GAS FREE environment and descaling at 2000 bar
with the simple use of water which allows the elimination of both fallen paint
and oxide layers from the surfaces of the structures treated in disjunction phase.
Both methods use natural substances, bicarbonate and water which contrary to traditional
siliceous abrasives produce scarce quantities of manufacture residues
with great advantages for the environment. Moreover the bicarbonate sand blasting
provided with all control systems, allows one to operate at lowest pressures (0,5 ÷ 1 Atm )
yielding results that are possible to realise in the cleaning of very delicate materials
such as glass, gentle marble and decorative stone, without absolutely
damaging the integrity of the surface.
